These pages provide an overview of the multi-disciplinary research and extension activities at Cornell University on shrub willow (Salix spp.). Our goal is to improve our understanding of:
- Woody plant biology,
- Biotic and abiotic stressors,
- Plant pest ecology,
- and perennial bioenergy crop agronomy.
Doing so will support expanded commercial deployment of sustainable shrub willow bioenergy crops.
